OUR STORY

In business since 1944, we have a rich tradition of caring for our guests. Gables Cedar Creek Inn has been owned and operated by the same family now for over 30 years. We have over three decades of priding ourselves on treating our guests like family, and we are blessed with generations of them returning over and over again.

Some Gables Cedar Creek Inn guests find it hard to leave their cozy cabin or the beautiful grounds, but Tuolumne County is hard to ignore. Only a few blocks from our Inn is Twain Harte Lake, a private recreational lake that is available to our guests (ask for details). In the summer, enjoy Twain Harte's Mini Golf, the free Concerts in the Pines Series, hiking, fishing, wine tasting and much, much more.

Admittedly we are biased. We can't think of any place better to claim as your own Yosemite / Gold Country Vacation Headquarters. Let us help you escape, and welcome you home.

"I’ve stayed here twice. Once for a local event and the other for my wife’s birthday get away weekend. Highly recommend!! Two of the nicest owners I’ve ever met and very accommodating. 60-90 minutes from Yosemite. 20mins from a local casino. 3 minutes from town." - Dan Perkins

"We have been coming to Twain Harte every summer as a family and extended family for over 50 years. We discovered the Gables probably 25 years ago. Cameron has elevated the entire property from great to amazing. We love all of the personal touches like lights and fire pit. My children love to run around the property and explore. Cameron will do anything to keep his guests happy. We look forward to coming for many years." - Julie Winkenbach-Hodges

"We had our wedding here and it was perfect! Such a beautiful location for our special day. Close to all sorts of fun things to do as well! Pinecrest Lake, Dodge Ridge for skiing / snowboarding. Can't say enough about how great and quiet it is here. Great place to get away and see the stars, connect with nature and take a break! Highly recommend!" - Brett & Carly Conner
